Agenda Items:
Jefferson Forest Early College Pilot: Muriel Mickles
- Beginning in fall 2017, CVCC will be offering an Early College (EC) pilot at Jefferson Forest High School (JFHS).
- This is a brand new pilot and stems from a grant.
Multiple Measures (assessment): Muriel Mickles
- This new way of assessment is coming down from the VCCS and will be implemented soon. Muriel told everyone to look forward to more information in the future.
Health Sciences Certificate: Muriel Mickles
- This new certificate passes the local board and is waiting to be passed by the VCCS.
College-wide calendar: Muriel Mickles
- Muriel said that we will start developing a college-wide, SIS and academic calendar so we can see when processes for each department/area are due, what processes are involved with one another, and how they work together or coincide.
