The announcement from Deanne McDaniels was read that announced the Welcome Back Pinic and requested volunteers.

Goals 2015 – 2016
  • Salary Survey: the organization requested that ED request a salary survey from the administration. Linda Daye discussed the HR policy for updating the EWP.
  • The standardization of approaches to the EWP; there seems to be some confusion regarding the inclusion of goals on the EWP and what their function is.
  • Use of Funds from a Fundraiser: Discussion about the Classified Staff Association’s potential donation to the emergency fund for students. Lauren also mentioned the lack of funding the VPT testing as a good use of funds. M. Farris and R. Hendrick are hoping to develop a way to fund the students who need to take the test to get into developmental classes – this is another option that Classified Staff may consider funding. Other suggestions would be welcome.

Lauren will be developing a survey to ask Classified Staff to come to an open meeting to discuss issues,
