Meeting Minutes of November 13, 2019 were reviewed and approved.
Mary and Connie reported that CVCC’s participation in the Annual Lynchburg Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 8th was successful with student, faculty and staff participation and fun.
Toys for Tots headed by Tina Murphy and Catherine Rice was successful in delivering two large boxes of toys to the Marine Corp and $135.00 in monetary contributions.
CVCC is holding an Express Registration on Saturday, January 4th and 11th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. If students haven’t paid their tuition by January 3rd, they will be backed out. Classes for SP 2020 will begin on January 13th.
Habitat for Humanity will let us know when the house will be built for Ms. Florence Coles. The Faculty Association wants to be involved. Habitat loved working with us.
David Lightfoot was the Guest Speaker offering a more in depth TEAMS training. We focused on CHAT and CALLS. There were a lot of questions asked and good participation. David and his staff are planning on setting aside each Wednesday from 2 – 3 for more advanced TEAMS training: January 15, 22, 29, February 5 and 12.
