CSA President Raylene Cope opened the final meeting of the 2020-2021 year and requested a motion to approve the minutes from the March 4th meeting. The motion was made by Connie Deacon and seconded by Gayle Kiger and the minutes were passed with one minor grammatical correction noted.
Raylene took a moment to welcome the new CVCC Chief of Police – William Wilkerson – to the committee.
Chris Jordan – Information Technology Helpdesk Supervisor - was introduced as the guest speaker. Chris spent the remainder of the meeting discussing the main components of the mobile devices recently issued to employees and the various ways to connect the equipment, depending on your work location (home or on campus). Chris concluded his presentation by answering personal and/or equipment-specific IT questions.
Raylene closed the meeting by reminding the committee that the current CSA officers would be vacating their positions at the end of this term and encouraged anyone interesting in serving in one of those roles to reach out to her.
The Zoom meeting adjourned at approximately 3:00 p.m.
