President’s Staff Meeting

October 13, 2011
A special meeting was called to make decisions on several items from Monday’s meeting that required additional information or more time to review.
Agenda Items:
Geoff distributed and the President’s Staff discussed the proposed Policies/Procedures for Student Conduct which would replace CVCC’s Honor Council. After noting several changes and additions, the President’s Staff approved the document.
The President’s Staff did not receive the information of the cost of printing and postage for only two postcard mailings to students in time for this meeting, but a decision was made to only do two printings if there was a savings of $2000 or more but if not, continue with the three mailings.  
After much discussion and reviewing the fall semester’s query of no-show students (this does not include Financial Aid students), the President’s Staff approved to not refund the tuition to these students effective for fall 2012 semester. This information will be relayed to all students via the College Catalog/Handbook, webpage, and emails. Geoff will work with Judy Graves on getting the information out to the students.  
The meeting adjourned at 11:45 a.m.
The next President’s Staff meeting will be held on October 24, 2011.
